The hostel was very clean and tidy however dorms were pretty small and difficult to move in when fully occupied. Bathroom is on a hotel level standard. Clean towels and liquid soap are already provided. Breakfests are great, you can eat as much as you want and there is a lot to choose from. Unfortunately the hostel has neither a common room nor a kitchen.

We have visited Amsterdam with a group of friends in September 2010, and for one night we had to stay at somewhere. We arranged this hostel at the last minute and did not expect a lot. It is a hostel to sleep, not to spend time in. It was not very clean, the beds are not very comfortable but the price was not much either. So if you are going to stay for a short time and do not want to spend a lot of money on accommodation, you may prefer this place.

Although the hotel was clean and had a decent breakfast, it turned out to be WAY overpriced and the staff was not friendly at all. If you asked any questions they acted as if you were annoying them. Also, some misunderstandings lead to a rather long disturbing night and an unpleasant morning. Very social atmosphere, and the people we met there were very friendly, just the hotel did not meet our expectations.

I've spent one night in this hostel and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Positive:
- breakfast - bread, coffee, cereals, ...
- free towels, wifi
- possible to park your car for free near the hostel
Negative:
- really small rooms, no free space to breath
- too many loud people in hostel
- staff behaves like you're annoying them
- bad smell in rooms
- too far from anywhere (about 30 minutes in tram to the center)
- surroundings is full of people you wouldn't like to meet when returning to the hostel during night
