For the price, this is a great B&B. Booking via e-mail was easy and efficient. I received the bigger B&W room, although I'd ooked the smaller one. The room was large (very large in A'dam standards), very clean and well equipped. Breakfast, tea & coffee were delivered to my room the evening before.
Location is as good as it gets - straight in the centre, close to shopping, the dam square, tram line, nightlife andthe metro.
The only word of warning is for elderly or disabled visitors - the stairs to the room are typical Amsterdam - very steep and narrow so could be a problem for some.
Overall highly recommended for a short stay, for singles or couples.

we stayed in the wonderful, stylish appartment in the top floor of the old, romantic building in the heart of amsterdam (near dam, red light district, bars, restaurants, churches, museums,....). it had huge windows, a wonderful big wooden table where we had breakfast every morning, a bed with canal-view, sofa, tv, free wifi. the owner was very nice and welcoming.
we felt like staying in a privat flat. next time there`s no other place to stay for us!!!

Loved staying at the Black and White room, very spacious! Bathrooms are very clean, the location of the B&B is perfect, very central and near everything, the breakfast is lovely and the owners are very nice and helpful!

A very central location is the best thing about this B&B. We stayed in the B&W room at the back of the house which was very quiet but not quite as luxurious as the photos on their web site made out. The room was huge with a large double bed but that was about it. Bathroom basic but adequate, good shower but no toiletries. The picnic hamper breakfast was an interesting start to the day and there was plenty to eat but no milk provided. As the location is so central it was easy to pick up left luggage on the way to the station on our homeward journey. Overall, would have expected a little bit more for the price.
