Great value for money as it is located outside of the centre. A tram runs just outside and takes around 20 minutes to Dam Square and the centre of Amsterdam. Nice quiet location.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. We were on the ground floor facing the front of the hotel so we could hear the trams outside but this wasn't a problem as it isn't very loud.

The breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Service was excellent. One of the plus points of this hotel was the free wifi.

Very helpful staff at reception and tram tickets can be purchased here. We opted for a 48hour pass which was cheaper than buying daily tickets.

Would recommend this hotel and would return.

Returned today from a 3 day stay at this hotel and definitely will be back. The hotel was spotless, the staff so helpful and friendly and no request was too much. Ok so it is a 20 minute tram ride from the city centre but it is in a nice quite location. You can take a number 69 bus from the airport for 2.60 euros ( beats paying 35 euros for a taxi and that is cheap) just ask off at Plein 40/45 and it will be more or less opposite the hotel. We took a taxi from the airport but the bus back.

2nd Visit to this hotel, and still think it a great choice for a trip to Amsterdam. Around 20 mins from the city centre, its much quieter, better value for money, and very clean and damp free unlike many of the City Centre hotels at comparible prices.
We were on the ground floor towards the back of the hotel, and there was some noise from the staff area where they must all walk past the door, but this was never before around 07:30 so didnt really disturb us.
The room was nicely furnished, and the beds extremely comfortable.
The only real let down at this hotel was the restaurant. Breakfast (additionally chargable, and not cheap!) is bland and greasy, but far better then the evening service, which while being an expensive option was far from tastey - yet again very greasy and limited poor choice - we were the only ones eating in the restaurant on that night, and now we know why!
Reception staff are very helpful and really make the place welcoming.
We will be back again in the future.

Our family spent New Years weekend (6days total) at this hotel and highly recommend it. After reading many reviews of other Amsterdam hotels, the word "bedbugs" was abundant. This hotel was spotless, with housekeeping checking with you twice a day for anything you might need - linen,towels, soap etc..). We had two rooms, cheaper than 1 quad, and they were both lovely. The hotel is in a Turkish neighbourhood and I think this is an asset, There is a nice market in the nearby square, shops, indoor mall, restaurants and bakeries nearby. Also a Turkish supermarket on the square, you have to try the breads and olives. We like to shop and travel like "locals" so taking the tram and buses to the tourist spots was a pleasure. They run every 10 mins. or so and listening to all the varied conversations truly makes Amsterdam a multi-cultural city. We went for daily walks around the hotel and it was perfectly safe and de-stressing after being downtown all day. The front desk staff were very helpful, the sell transit passes and help with maps and directions, all in perfect english. Approx. 20 mins to/from Schiphol, eays to get to. We would definately stay here again !
