We had a 14-hour layover after our trip to Italy and before we flew back to the US with our family of four. It was difficult to find a hotel near Schiphol that could accommodate two children but this hotel was recommended to me by some people here on Tripadvisor. It worked out great. We were picked up by the shuttle bus from the airport and it was only a short 15 minute drive to the hotel. Our room had a super comfy king-size bed, a pull-out couch for our 3-year old that was already made up, and a baby cot for our 4-month old baby. The bathroom was huge and very clean. We had dinner next door at the place that has indoor beach volleyball.

The next morning we had to get up early to catch our flight and the receptionist called for a shuttle bus and we were off. I would definitely stay here again if we ever have to fly early in the morning from Schiphol again.

On my arrival I instantly felt at home. The painting in the hallway of my favourite South African artist was just the final touch. I found the hotel hotel modern and luxuries. The staff were all very friendly.
The food is outstanding. I can recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a high class hotel near the airport.

I will surely stay there again in future. Really highly recommendable!

Having missed my connecting flight from Amsterdam to Cork KLM kindly put me up at the Chariot. I was quiet upset, tired and ready for bed when I got there so not in a very good frame of mind. But what a lovely time I had there. The staff were so lovely and booked a group of us in without a bother. My room was delightful and the bathroom huge with a double hand basin you could take a bath in. Everything was spotless and my bed was really comfortable. Best of all was that I was told to go to the dinning room (this at 9.30pm) where a glass of wine and dinner awaited me. Here again the staff were lovely and I noticed that some people came in to order dinner (also from delayed flights) at 10.30 and they were still served even though the dinning room closes at 10.00pm. Breakfast was self service with a waitress to serve tea or coffee. Lots of choice and lovely fresh orange juice. All in all a great stay. I would use this hotel again if staying over in Amsterdam as its close to the airport but mostly for the lovely staff and great hotel.

I stay in this hotel with my family for one week, we occupied room 101 and 102.The hotel is very clean, spacious and comfortably.We stay on the first floor with balcony.Most of their staff are friendly, the food is nice a bit deer if travel with family 15Euro per person for breakfast the dutch pancake is must try, generally food is expensive in Amsterdam.I loved the nearby natural swimming pool 'Oosterbad' NO chlorine nice and clean.public transport is cheaper with OV-CHIP but you can rent a car for 60Euro a day from the hotel. I have my car to move about.The internet was working fine.We will definately stay in this hotel again.
