Carlton De Brug is, as mentioned in a review below, not situated in Eindhoven. This hotel is not convenient if you have to be there. However, for a weekend getaway with the wife and daughter, this was a great choice. Plenty of activities, nice surroundings, friendly staff and comfortable room. All in all, a nice weekend.

We stayed for 4 nights on a Tour; we were a bit dubious staying here after reading all the reviews. But our bus driver who we know stays here regularly and said the hotel was good and he was right. I contacted the hotel a few days before and asked for a quiet room, away from the lifts and that is exactly what we got. Lovely big room on the 4th floor, with nice bed, room was very clean as was bathroom .Room has (fridge mini bar), hairdryer, free room safe, kettle with tea, and coffee .Bathroom has bath with shower over it, breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We eat in the hotel a couple of times the food was very good and the staff friendly. The hotel is in a lovely quiet village location, also there are restaurants in the village.
We were on a tour so the hotels location was fine for us .We didn’t use any of the hotels leisure facilities which are absolutely brilliant. We would defiantly stay here again.

This hotel is miles from anywhere in a not very attractive location. Our room was very dated and very disappointing. There were big stains on the wall and ceiling. Even after the maid had been in to clean there were dirty cups left from when we had made coffee. It felt as though she had made the bed and that was it.
The turn down service in the evening was interesting. Instead of receiving the normal chocolate on the bed we got an apple.
The bathroom had a beige suite. The shower was operated by taps and you had to fiddle with them to try to get the right levels of hot and cold water. The pressure was not good and the temperature erratic.
Breakfast was one of the worst buffets I've ever had. We had to wait to be seated because the staff had wondered off. Once in the restaurant we were left to our own devices with half a dozen other diners as the staff once again disappeared. We didn't bother to repeat the experience.
On the other hand the gym. pool, hot tubs, sauna and sports halls were fantastic and the cafes attached to them were lovely. The leisure facilities were 5 star whereas the rooms were less than 3 star.

3 days before my visit I received a phone call from the hotel (in England) to tell me they had a big cycle race in the town on my day of arrival and advised me what time to arrive.
Once there I was VERY impressed. Excellent standard, good food and very friendly staff and what marvellous leisure facilities.
Its location was about 15 mins from Eindhoven by bus, which is regular and stops outside the hotel.
I would heartily recommend a stay here
