This hotel is miles from anywhere in a not very attractive location. Our room was very dated and very disappointing. There were big stains on the wall and ceiling. Even after the maid had been in to clean there were dirty cups left from when we had made coffee. It felt as though she had made the bed and that was it.
The turn down service in the evening was interesting. Instead of receiving the normal chocolate on the bed we got an apple.
The bathroom had a beige suite. The shower was operated by taps and you had to fiddle with them to try to get the right levels of hot and cold water. The pressure was not good and the temperature erratic.
Breakfast was one of the worst buffets I've ever had. We had to wait to be seated because the staff had wondered off. Once in the restaurant we were left to our own devices with half a dozen other diners as the staff once again disappeared. We didn't bother to repeat the experience.
On the other hand the gym. pool, hot tubs, sauna and sports halls were fantastic and the cafes attached to them were lovely. The leisure facilities were 5 star whereas the rooms were less than 3 star.

3 days before my visit I received a phone call from the hotel (in England) to tell me they had a big cycle race in the town on my day of arrival and advised me what time to arrive.
Once there I was VERY impressed. Excellent standard, good food and very friendly staff and what marvellous leisure facilities.
Its location was about 15 mins from Eindhoven by bus, which is regular and stops outside the hotel.
I would heartily recommend a stay here

Right, where do I start... First of all, the hotel is not in Eindhoven, it is in Mierlo -- about a 25-minute taxi ride from the train station in the middle of nowhere. I had a business meeting in Eindhoven in the morning and location of the hotel inconvenienced me quite a lot.

Now, the hotel itself: big room, but looks very low-budg. Had a big stain on the carpet right in the middle of the floor. When booking, I asked for a king-size bed. What I got was two singles (not even pushed together). Tiny duvets -- the kind that bares your feet when you pull it slightly upwards...

I needed to make a call to Germany and called the recption to ask what rate per minute I'd be paying. Good thing I did! 4 euro per minute from the Netherlands to Germany!

The floor in the shower room was ice-cold, low-quality toiletries....

Finally, I had a cup of coffee and a toast with ham in the morning (literaly, that's all I had!) only to find out that -- no! -- the breakfast is not included and costs 15 euros. For a cup of coffee!

Will never go back and will not recomend you do.
