I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed what this hotel has to offer.
I was made very welcome when I arrived. The room was clean and pleasant.
The hotel is in a beautiful area only a mile or so from the centre of Venlo. I didn't get chance to try the leisure facilities or the walks in the area, but if I hope I get the chance to.

The restaurant was friendly, fantastic food (though a lot pricier than I would normally pay).

I hadn't realised that I was leaving on a Dutch holiday so breakfast had not started when I went to the restaurant, but the staff let me eat early anyway (on the down side the hotel guide does not specifically mention that breakfast times are different during holiday times).

The only real negative is that there were no tea / coffee facilities in the room - just the normal overpriced mini-bar.

Not the hotel's fault but I couldn't get a timely taxi in the morning and ended up having to run to the train station - approx. 15 minutes if anyone needs to do it!

The location is very nice as it's located in the woods. The restaurant is good, but the rooms need to be revamped to 21st century. Electronics are out of date and the 5 lb key to the room is odd. Room was comfortable though and I enjoyed the stay.

Spent one night at this Bilderberg hotel when I had to be in the Venlo area for work. Room was comfortable and clean. TV slightly old-fashioned for a hotel in this class I thought though. Location very nice as the hotel is surrounded by woodland. I didn’t have much spare time, but suppose you could go out for some good walks around the hotel if you wanted to. The hotel’s wellness centre is unfortunately only open on certain days. Pity as I would have liked to make use of it while I was there. Room rate included a very tasty three course set dinner. Breakfast was also up to the usual Bilberberg standard with a good selection of regional bread. Would come back to this hotel when staying in this area.

As a young couple, we stayed at this hotel twice so far. It is absolutely perfect! The second time was on the Saturday before Valentines' day and the staff organised a very nice dinner for each couple accommodated at their hotel. What really impressed me is that at the end of the evening every lady received a rose. I still have mine :). So, the staff very careful, friendly, attentive to all the clients...Very rich breakfast. Nice views for the morning coffee and not only. The hotel is located in a very green area and they even have a tennis court. Room big enough, verrrry clean, bed maybe a bit soft, but we slept very well. So, I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.
