Excellent location near the main square (Vrijthof). We stayed in Room 6, private Bath overlooking interior courtyard. Free wireless internet. Near local shops. Need to wire money and pay in advance. Owners were helpful. Rooms were quiet during our stay.

I booked this hotel via hotels.com. It was confirmed but one day before the actual stay I received an email that 'my credit card has been declined'. I called them right after I received this message, to see how I can pay, but they just dropped the call. At the same time, the hotel disappeared from the hotels.com website and their own website says there are no rooms for that night.

I am fairly sure there is nothing wrong with my card (I actually booked another hotel right away with the same card).

If you want to be sure of a room, I would advice you to avoid this place.

A wonderful location in the center of old Maastricht. Cosy breakfast, nice rooms, parking close by underground beneath the Vrjithof. We reserved two rooms with a view out onto the church across the street (and we were acknowledged as having reserved those specific rooms). One room was perfect, just as reserved. Unfortunately, the other room was given away to someone else while our guests travelling with us were relegated to a basement room. No explanation. No apologies. So, no return visit. Too bad, it was a nice place but but I was very angry and disappointed at the time and I won't forget that. When we return to Maastricht, and we will, we will stay elsewhere.

It's in the real centre of Maastricht. The rooms are cosy and the staff is very helpfull.
