We booked this property for a weekend shopping trip with friends. We wanted to be really close to the main square in Maastricht, and to be handy to shops and restaurants. The interior of the entire hotel is well outdated. Rooms and everything dates from the '70s by the looks, its kills all the nice and lovely atmosphere that Maastricht offers. The rooms were really not that clean on closer inspection, and if you had a room on the street side you could hear partyers all night with the windows open as the room became very warm and with no air con it was open the windows or suffer the heat. The buffet breakfast was not really that good, the bread products were stale, the bacon undercooked and the cheese selection was limited. The eggs had a texture of a really bad sponge. Aside from that the usual items were available . The staff was very friendly. The parking was convenient, across the street in a secure lot, but you need to get a ticket from the front desk upon check-in. We booked for location and some of the reviews were positive, but was one of those places you take a chance on, great location to get to the shops, but would not stay here again, nor recommend it.
Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the court yard, less noise.
