I have spend 2 nights there. This is just a good hotel. Rooms are well equipped and neat. I had a good sleep (rather quiet hotel). WiFI is free in each room. Service is ok, my room had a big window overlooking the city.

We really liked this hotel. It was small but very clean and comfortable. They had free wireless and a computer downstairs that we used. I needed to print boarding passes and bus tickets and the desk clerk very graciously had me email them to her and she printed them for me. They had free tea and coffee all day which was nice. Our bus wasn't leaving Groningen until 8:00 pm the day we checked out. Our twenty plus year old sons had a late night out the night before with their sister who is studying abroad in Groningen. The hotel let them stay in their room until 5:00 pm for just 10 extra euros which I thoguht was very reasonable. They really appreciated the extra sleep!

We loved this place! It is in the heart of the city yet still quiet at night. Beautiful rooftop views out the huge room windows, close to everything - city square, martini tower, train station, countless shops, restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, etc. Hotel had FREE computer with internet, FREE coffee, tea and cappucino (the real stuff, strong and unsweetened) in the restaurant, and bike rental available at the hotel. We felt completely at home here and enjoyed everything about this hotel and Groningen. The only thing missing was a fridge in the room so check to see if that is an option in other rooms.

The hotel is located very close to the inner city of Groningen great shopping. Just a 5-10 minutes walk. The Groningen Museum is 10-15 minutes and the Dutch Cartoon Museum is 15-20 minutes by foot.

The hotel has a very large lobby. The staf is very friendly. The breakast room offers free coffee and tea all day long. The breakfast has the regular items (hot eggs/saucises/bread etc)

We had requested a room at the top floor (7th) with a great view over the city. It was great to see all the houses at day, and especially the lights at night.

The rooms are recently renovated. It contains a bathroom (with a huge shower / sink and toilet), no bath.

Our room did contain 2 single beds. Each with its own linnen etc. Also a small desk. A TV with the regular channels.

Below the hotel is a parking garage. This is very narrow and I would not recommend it when you are alone. You will not make it in/out the garage without damaging your car.

On our next trip to Groningen we will certainly staying here again!
