I stayed have stayed at this hotel a few times and always had the same experiance so thought it was time to write a review.
The Staff have always been wonderful and on a few occasions I have had problems not asociated with the hotel and they have gone out of their way to help me.
There is a carpark under the hotel but its a bit tight to get in and out of.
Breakfast is typical Dutch but of good quality, very good coffee.
The rooms are all very clean and good bedding, just a bit tight but fine for a short stay.
Its an easy walk to the train station or the city centre and of course its quite flat.
and lastly the price makes it a good value choice

The Hampshire in the city is a convenient place to stay in with the amount of restaurants accessible everywhere.

The beds were soft and comfortable to sleep in and even though we were there on Queen's Day, the blaring music from the main town did not cause any disturbance to us even though we could hear a bit of sound.

We stayed in the apartment as it was cheaper for 4 of us. It was a 2 storey apartment with a master bedroom with 2 single beds and a smaller room with a queen size bed. The staff comes everyday to check if anything is needed. There is also a kitchen .

I stayed at hotel Hampshire for 2 nights and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was better than I had expected. I had a room on the 7th floor with a wonderful view of the city of Groningen. The room was big enough and the service at the reception was good. The hotel was close to the city. I would stay at this hotel again if I went to Groningen

NEGATIVE!!! This hotel is just awful!! I had many drunk dutch men as neighbours, they didn't let me sleep AT ALL, I called reception many times, ha!! The receptionist was rude, and didn't help! The room is small, the window is dirty, I can't wait to leave this place. Now it's 3.28 a:m, and I still can't sleep because of those swines!!
