Spoorwegzicht would be a more accurate name! The passenger trains didn't bother me much but you couldn't fail to notice when a freight train went past. Although right next to the railway, the hotel is not particularly close to the Station (which was being completely rebuilt when I visited). I had a single room in the eaves on the second floor which was distinctly bare. However, the bed was comfortable and the shared shower and loo on the landing were nicely presented. The communal areas downstairs were a bit dingy.
The location is central, and the proprietor pointed me in the direction of places to eat (I went Greek, which was good). You get a front door key with your room key, so there is no pressure to be back in by a particular time.
Breakfast in the cellar kitchen was intimate, but perfectly adequate.
Unusually, I was paying my own bills on this trip, which led me to the cheaper end of the market. I would return here, though.
