This is a good place to stay in Apeldoorn and the staff really do make the place, always friendly and helpful.

We started in a room above the kitchen which was noisy from a broken air conditioning unit but were immediately moved to a balcony room. The rooms had a couple of easy chairs as well as the twin beds so there was a decent amount of space and the curtains were great, black out lining that kept the light out perfectly!

The bathroom was small and functional and there was very little space for hanging clothes so we lived out of our bags for the week which was okay but not ideal.

The food was good, the staff always willing to deliver our requests for slightly different things, like hot milk in a morning or extra fruit for dessert in the evening.

Everything was clean and well looked after and in general, after we had moved the place was quiet despite being on a busy road.

I wouldn't stay here with my husband for a romantic weekend or anything, but for work it was ideal and there was a fitness suite and swimming pool as an added bonus.

Brilliant location, huge rooms, clean place.....all made up for a beautiful stay at this hotel.

The staff are very affable and helpful, but I get the feeling that the hotel is understaffed.

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE PLACE IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING.

The GB and Canadian track cycling teams were staying there so this added interest to our stay.
The staff were very helpful. At first we walked to and from the centre but later we tried the buses from the bus stop right outside. The buses to the centre of Apeldoorn were frequent and cheap.

I had to come to Apeldoorn on business and there are no hotels in the city centre, so had to stay here - the location is not great for getting anywhere on foot or by public transport, and it's also very noisy, as it's on a main road.

The rooms are shabby and poorly lit, with only single beds (if you ask for a double, they will push two singles together). The bathroom was very dingy, with small, thin towels.

Breakfast was adequate, other meals in the restaurant were very so-so - large portions, and chips with everything.

The plus sides of this hotel were that internet is free, and that there is a swimming pool, although it's not well-heated.

I hope not to have to stay here again.
