The host is the most unpleasant person I've ever met.
Moreover, the B&B is quite horrible, and it's in the middle of nowhere...Hope you guys will find sonewhere else to go(at less you can have a better room in Amsterdam's city centre).

Stay away!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bordine very much, we felt at home immediately, the nice big room was in warm colours , and even with nice art on the walls too. The host was friendly and helpfull at check in. Bordine is providing surprisingly many free services for a low budget price, we enjoyed the stay and in special the satellite tv, dvd player, and we even could do our wash in the washing machine, but we enjoyed above all the computer in the room with free internet access, wifi hotspot., so we could easely log in and chat all evening with or friends and relatives, and tell them about our travel ...ehumm, felt like at home :-) . The Studio was in a normal Dutch house, with a privat terrace at the back, in a small typical Dutch street , with litlle gardens in front of it, just an 8 minutes walk from the old town and train station of Leeuwarden, it was just a friendly Dutch neighbourhood, supermarkets, bakery , money machine etc. , around the corner. If you like the small B & B's, and not the standard hotel chain rooms, this is really something like a secret and bargain tip. We will recommend Bordine surely to all our friends.

When entering the room my girlfriend and I did not have any nice feelings. The room simply had nothing interesting or warm about it: no nice pictures, no warm materials and just no atmosphere. In the kitchen there was a fruitbasket filled with fake lemons and oranges: talking about bad taste. After inspecting the room we had to tell the owner we unfortunately weren't interested anymore. He seemed to take it well at first, but when he saw we were really going, he became nasty and very angry. He said we 'needed a psychiatrist to get our heads examined'. No, we strongly advice against this terrible place. You might get 'free' Internet and a washing machine, but it's done in bad taste and by a person who wouldn't recognise customer service if he sat on it. So, do yourself a favour and don't go!

We visit Bordine Bed & Breakfast. A small friendly budget priced B & B, at realy nice neighbourhood, not far from train station and centre. Directly we felt at home. Even a computer at our room with free lan wifi internet access. And a equiped kitchen !! Even a washing machine dryer, free coffee, and breakfast at our room, all included. And the room had a sat-tv free movie channels and i think 1000 international sat. channels. tel and fax macine also.. we realy felt at home. Great secret price tip this B & B.
