Stayed here for a weekend because The Giraf Hotel that I was staying in during the week was fully booked. The rooms had a tired look about them and need modernising. The bathroom was untidy with bits falling off the walls. There bar was nice and cosy with a great little courtyard for seating when the weather allows. It's just a shame that you have to track down a member of staff to serve you. I wouldn't have minded if this was a once off, but everytime we went to the bar at assorted times, there was no one at hand to serve you. We thought we'd try the restaurant as well, as it looked smart and had an interesting menu. However, we were soon dissappointed by poor service and the rudeness of the staff, so much so that we left without finishing our starters. When I tried to complain to the manager when checking out I was told that there was no manager on duty. Thoroughly dissappointing weekend and I won't be staying there again.
