I probably spent more time laboring over Trip Advisor Zurich hotel reviews trying to decide where to stay, than the time I actually spent at this hotel ...which was 24 hours. However my labors were not in vain. This hotel was perfect and met every expectaion. We arrived at 8 am on a rainy January Saturday (I had emailed in advance of the early arrival) Luckily they had a room available that we could go to immediately ...room 315, a large corner room with lots of windows and the grafitti art ...which was amusing. The hotel agreed thaqtwe could enjoy the included breakfast on our arrival day since we were departing pretty early the next. Breakfast was fine with some hard boiled warm eggs available as well as the usual items. There was also Salmon from Norway and Prosecco to enjoy!!!! The location on the edge of the old town, and a five minute walk from the Bahnhof was excellent. After a few hours of touring we were chilled and needed a break, as we did again later in the afternoon. WE could easily come back and rest.

Our bathroom had a really long tub and lots of vanity storage space - which I like. The towels were very rough though (my only negative) . The hotel has one free computer in the lobby and you can buy 30 minutes internet time for your phone or laptop for about 4 francs ...as well as 24 hour unlimited rates. I totally recommend this hotel to all.

We stayed here over Christmas. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and modern. However if you are looking for traditional wooden paneling, this is not the hotel for you.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. It was a great service to be able to book tours and tickets at reception.
The breakfast had a great selection, although was a bit limited due to reduced supply deliveries over Christmas.
Within walking distance of the Central Station and Christmas markets. Located near lots of cafes and restaurants. This was handy as everything is shut over Christmas and we were able to find a pub open during the Christmas holidays.

Booked this hotel based on the good reviews. It was excellent. The room was basic but clean and decent. Very conveinent to the train station. However if you have a lot of luggage , I would suggest taking tram 10 to/from the airport to the Central Tram Stop which is like a 1 min walk to the hotel. The tram is slower but will save you a longer walk from the train station . There is a coop supermarket nearby . Starbucks next door . Lot of restaurants and bars in the old town within 5 min walk.

The hotel has a good breakfast to get you started. You have to pay for WiFi internet access from the room. They have a computer in the lobby for which there is no charge.

Would highly recommend it

The room we had was very nice - plenty of space with all the usual amenities. I did find the room a bit stuffy sometimes but fortunately you can open the window on the rear side of the hotel. Breakfast was pleasant and the staff were quite agreeable. Good location and close to the gay area of Zurich.
