As advertised, Limmatblick is right on the river. Excellent location - within walking distance to everything in Zurich and near the train station. Everything has been modernized. The rooms are new and include decorations from the Dada art movement. The rooms are a bit small but if you're single or a traveling couple, it works just fine. It's very clean.

It was a good value for an expensive city. It has everything you need. Internet, delicious breakfast, a cozy bar, and friendly staff.

The hotel lobby is actually a bar which is very loud late afternoon and evening mainly due to cranked up radio. The location was excellent for us. Close to the train station, bus tour depot and in alstadt- old town.

Our room was on the 4th floor and accessible by lift. Small room but spacious bathroom. The shower would not drain until I cleared out a huge wad of hair. No air conditioner or fan. Very miserable at 85 degrees. Opening the window invited in the weekend street noise which lasted until 5 am.

I recommend spending the extra dollars and staying elsewhere.

Breakfast was an unremarkable, small display of meat, cheese, runny yogurt and hard rolls.

I stayed at the limmatblick hotel for three nights during a business trip.
The stay was confortable and the location was superb, 7 minutes from the train station, next to th river and the fasionable Niederdorfstrasse.
The room was homely but a bit on the small size, but very functional.
The breakfest was delicious, and served at the lower floor of the hotel which also serve as a bar throughout the day.
The atmosphere at the Bar during evenings is very relaxed and warm, and many people (even non-hotel guests) come here for a drink.
The owner was very welcoming and offered great advises and made my stay very relaxed and enjoyable.

I would recomend this hotel for business minded traveleres looking for a lively, hospitable hotel.

Good hotel but the service was poor. The Internet was slow you can't watch streamed videos but on the hole a good hotel.
