I stayed at the limmatblick hotel for three nights during a business trip.
The stay was confortable and the location was superb, 7 minutes from the train station, next to th river and the fasionable Niederdorfstrasse.
The room was homely but a bit on the small size, but very functional.
The breakfest was delicious, and served at the lower floor of the hotel which also serve as a bar throughout the day.
The atmosphere at the Bar during evenings is very relaxed and warm, and many people (even non-hotel guests) come here for a drink.
The owner was very welcoming and offered great advises and made my stay very relaxed and enjoyable.

I would recomend this hotel for business minded traveleres looking for a lively, hospitable hotel.

Good hotel but the service was poor. The Internet was slow you can't watch streamed videos but on the hole a good hotel.

The only good thing about the hotel is he position,right in the city centre you can walk everywhere.The price we pay is way too expensive for what they offer! Room was very small (and even if I ask for a quite one there were 2 tram lines right outside) the sink in the room and a separate extremely small wc+shower.The heat was always on and extremely hot ..and no chance at all to talk with someone!!!!The satff was busy serving at the bar! The worst part in fact was that you enter in the hotel trough a tiny bar one on the streets !!! no frontdesk , no indications, no lobby and very very rude staff!!!!I asked more than once if I can ask some questions and the answer was " I don't have time for you!" UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I spent one week with my husband in this hotel. First of all, it's an expensive hotel, very small rooms and reception simply does not exist. It's just like a bar!! Something I didn't like is the fact that the housekeepers were NEVER knocking the door to get in.. they just opened the door like that!! They couple times got me in underwear and once in the bathroom, i don't need to mention how unconfortable that was!
Another thing is the noise.. The room I got ( in the 3rd floor) was sooooo HOT, and of course they dont have air conditioning so, the only option at night was opening the small windows they have, then we could hear all the noise coming from the street ( they were working on something with big trucks, also they deliver food around 5am every morning) and the kitchen is right downstairs) but also noise coming from the reception/ restaurant/ bar wich is everyday full of young people and music.
did I mention that the room was very hot???

But the last thing i did not like at all was that, i needed to leave the city one day earlier, so, the day before I talked to the receptionist ( the only woman in there) that we would be leaving the room in 2 days... so, we wouldn't take the room the last nite. She told me that the hotel would charge me anyway. I explained her the situation and she told me that I should let her know when I checked in !!! It never happened to me before. (sometimes people have to change plans and leave earlier, right? )
And she told me that she would charge me also the last night becuase..BUSINESS ARE BUSINESS... that is the phrase she said...
I hate to say that but, maybe it was my fault that i didn't talked to them in advance, but i was never having the feeling that I WAS A BUSINESS FOR A HOTEL... isn't it suppose to be that the clients are the most importan???
....imagine that:: welcome to Hotel Limmatblick, where the most important is not you... it is your MONEY!!

I travel to Zurich very often.. but I will never come back to this hotel...
