We stayed in this hotel for one night on route to Italy as part of a Railbookers tour, and as such it was chosen for us by the travel company. This means I can't really comment on value for money as it was all included in the cost of the holiday.
The hotel itself is in a converted cinema. It is fairly small and quite quiet, with the feel of a business hotel rather than a touristy place. It looks to have been recently refurbished and has a modern style. The rooms are good size and the whole place was clean and smart. It's a five minute walk from the railway station and a 20 minute or so walk to the lake, so it's a good location. They have a computer in the lobby, or you can use the free Wifi if you ask them for the code.
We arrived early evening so we decided to have dinner in the hotel. The food was good and fairly reasonably priced, the menu is very limited though. Just a short walk from the hotel, along the same street, are loads of restaurants and bars so there is plenty of choice nearby. We also had breakfast in the morning, which was typical continental (albeit a good choice and good quality) although there was a menu with cooked options too.
We didn't stay long but from our brief experience I would recommend this hotel for a city break in Zurich.
