I stayed here for 3 nights at the start of october. couldn't fault the hotel, or it's location. If you are arriving at the airport, it's a 15minute trip on the S16 to Stadelhofen and then a five minute walk in a straight line to Roessligasse where the hotel is.
I arrived at midday and was pleasantly surprised that I could get straight into my room. it was a good size with an average sized double bed, and a fantastically technicolour bathroom and shower.
i can see why some reviews commented on the temperature, the room was pleasantly warm, without any heating on - had the weather been warmer outside it might have been a bit uncomfortable. I was in room 301 over looking the street. I didn't have any issues with noise - from inside the hotel and neighbouring rooms (which has been an issue in other places I've stayed) but did also used the earplugs provided.
Breakfast was standard continental fare, but with a good selection of fruit juices, instead of the obligatory orange.
Staff on the desk were really helpful.
Zurich isn't the cheapest place in the world, but there's a coop supermarket five minutes away which sells basic supplies (including good value chocolate). Thanks to the hotel I had a really nice stay, despite the appalling weather.
If you are planning on sightseeing in Zurich i'd recommend the Zurich card, available online from the Zurich tourist service. you can pick it up at the airport and this will get you free public transport on the train, metro, polybahn and on the boats, as well as entry to all the museums.
