I stayed here in 2008 and it took me so long to write this review... maybe because I want it to be a secret!
I'm a local but was staying in the hotel for a couple of days with a friend who was visiting Switzerland. Also men feel at home in the hotel.
The location is spot on, a block from the beautiful Zurich lake.You can walk everywhere or the the tram (next stop is very close). You can acually walk next to the lake to get to the hotel, very very nice.
Breakfast is absolutely wonderful. It is a small room which makes you feel very relaxed and they make fresh eggs for you. Bread is very lovely. For me breakfast is very important and I was not let down. Be aware: breakfast in the city will easily cost you 20, 30 francs, Sunday brunches easily 50 francs per person. Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel.
Room is very spacious and I loved loved loved the bathroom. I do not like big hotel complexes so this hotel makes you feel very welcome but typical Swiss, the staff is very discret but always there when you need them.
Hotel prices in Zurich are outrageous but with this hotel I think you get a lot for your hard earned money.

I always visit this hotel when visiting my family in Zurich. They have large rooms where they put an extra double mattrass on the floor for our two children? The hotel is a mix of old and design, which is very nice done. The rooms are extreemly clean. Breakfast is very good and included in the price. They have a nice SPA but only for women (men not allowed). Thats why ladies First in the name...
The hotel is located near (3 min by food) at the lake of Zurich in the better erea of Zurich. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the surrounding streets. Only negative point - no own parking...

A beautiful hotel with a very friendly staff and excellent localization.

At the beginning we were a bit confused by the name, thinking that it would be for women only. However, that is not the case (any more, apparently) and men are also welcome!
The location is great, in a charming area of town and really close to a tram stop. The building where the hotel is located is a typical Zürich townhouse, but that doesn't mean the facilities are outdated, quite the opposite, everything is kept in mint condition. Breakfast is always included in the rates - and it's sumptuous!
All this comes at a price, though. Even by Zürich standards, it's a rather costly hotel. Nevertheless, we'll keep it on our shortlist.
