We stayed in this hotel because it was close to the start of the long distant triathlon held in Switzerland, we ended up having to keep our bikes in our very small doulbe rooms. The rooms were clean, but the manageress was extremely rude and unpleasant. The breakfasts were definitely not worth getting up for. The rooms have no air con. and the streets are extremely noisey, so difficult to sleep, except on a Sunday night. Close to the town, railway station and tram, so rest of Zurich easily accessible from hotel.

At 140 CHF per night it's one of the cheapest hotels I could find in Zürich. It's conviently located near the city centre. The area looks quiet, and there is not much traffic, but when we where there, on a hot summer night, people were talking in the street till late, and again in the early morning (5 AM).

The furnishings weren't new, but functional. Beds and bathroom were clean, but there was dust under the beds.

Very disappointing for us - lovers - is that we got a twin room with beds under an angle, instead of the double room (Doppelzimmer) we thought we had booked.

Next time when I come to the city I'll pay a bit more.
