Just off the main shopping and dining (nightlife) area, it is a nice hotel (limited) and decent location. Warning, it is up a hill a little bit so if you are walking it is a liitle bit of a hoof. The rooms were good, clean, large and great showers in the baths. close to rail station and points of interest

This is a very convenient location except for the steep hill you have to climb and especially if you are dragging luggage, even a small carry on size. You can catch a tram but we were advised it was too close by the train station. Should have taken tram 1st day UP the hill. BUT, the room is very clean, has little frig/coffee maker, etc. making snacks and drinks easy. Staff are very helpful. Best of all it has a free washer/dryer for guests. Good beds. Overall good value. However, it is noisy with the tram outside but we slept through it with earplugs.

5 minutes walking from the cente. The rooms are very clean, they actually all look like an appartment. You also have a microwave a Nespresso machine a litttle cooking stove and a little fridge there.There is a Tram line just in front of the building which is good if you don't like to walk but not so good if you have a light sleep - so make sure to close the sun blinds - they block the noise. The reception is only from 8am till 8pm, If you check in late you have to call a swiss mobile number and someone tells you the code to get your key out of a locker at the door. There is no breakfast served at the hotel at all, they can recommend you cafes. Staff is friendly.

I stayed here 5 nights during a conference and was quite pleased. My room was bigger than I reserved, facing toward the side and back with plenty of space and lots of windows. The work area was comfortable and the free WiFi worked well. There was a small food preparation area and a refrigerator that I stocked from the supermarket nearby (next to the train station -- also underneath the station is another market that's even open Sundays).

The location is a 10-minute walk to the station or the edge of the old city, though up a hill (Zurich being quite steep on that side of the river). Four tram lines stop near the hotel and will get you almost anywhere you want to go. The university district (ETH, Univ of Zurich) is a short walk a little further up the hill.

Even at the start of September the weather was a little muggy, and I appreciated being able to throw open the windows. So in the summer you should weigh the chances of encountering hot weather, as there is no air conditioning. Otherwise I found this hotel to be quite a good deal in expensive Zurich.
