Tiny rooms that smell like stale cigarette smoke. The floor of my room slanted at about 20 degrees toward the door. And slightly surly front desk staff. Not a great experience. Very good location, not far from the central station is the one strong point.

I was in Zurich for business for 2 nights. My room was OK, my colleagues’ room were much worse. It was clean and comfortable in an attic. The shower outside was horrible…
It is manageable if you don’t want to spend much in a very expensive city!

It's located in the middle of Zuriches old town surrounded by nice little shops, cafes and restaurants. The price is relatively beareable compared to the rest of this city, but for what you get there its expensive. The slat base of my bed was completely broken but there was noone to talk to at the reception when i found out, because they close it at 11pm. All rooms have to share the bathroom. And this shared bathroon was so dirty i decided i'll be cleaner if i dont shower there. There was no place where they lock your luggage if you want to leave it there for a few hours after check out. I had to leave it in the hall. And by the way- Do not ever go there if you dislike Indian food or the smell of it! There is an Indian resaurant on the second floor and the whole place smells of Curry... even my room on the top floor.

Switzerland is an expensive country in Europe so for my partner and I to stay in Zurich we picked this 2 star hotel, which was overpriced but not for the area. The room was clean and so were the sheets. However the bathroom was disgusting and the shower looked like it got cleaned once a month. The separate toilets were clean and the rooms got cleaned everyday. The cleaners just seemed to skip the shared showers. The best part about the hotel was that every room was named after a singer or band. The staff were really nice and very helpful with what to see in the area. The hotel doesn't provide free WiFi, however you can pay CHF 10 for an hour. Also try the restaurant across from the hotel called Pure Asia. The chef is so nice and the food is amazing.
