We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We chose it for its location: walking distance to almost everything including a public indoor parking. It is located in a small alley in the heart of the "altstadt". It is closed to a large variety of restaurants: Italian, Swiss, Mexican, Turkish, Chinese, German, and yes, even McDonald's! There are also a number of nite clubs, bars, clothing and accessories shops. The river is a couple of blocks away, and downtown is a walking distance as well. The room is typical of European hotels, small but efficient and clean. We got one of the bigger rooms that came with a couch. The room was cleaned everyday, and we got fresh towels daily. Oh, and they have face towels!!!! A little treat especially because these are never available in most European hotels. There's not much selection for breakfast; in fact, there's hardly any food available! It tends to be very noisy at night, but if you close the windows, it is not that bad. The room also gets so hot, but you can request for a mini electric fan, which is sufficient to cool the room. The mini bar is stocked but the prices are very expensive. If you leave your laptop at home, they have one available by the reception area, but the connection is VERY slow, so don't bother. The elevator is so small, if you have some luggage, only one person could fit (with your bags).
