A bit thin walls. Nice room. Helpful personell in the reception. Tram 7 and 15 passed often by so it was easy to come home and down to the city center. It was a short walk to the eCho restaurant at the Marriott.

I stayed for 3 nights for business and I have nothing to complain about. Small but well organized and modern room, free wireless internet access, nice breakfast included in the room rate, walking distance to University (ETH), tram stop to the city just 50 m away, possible to walk to the city centre (20 mins).

My room was quiet as it faced the small side street. I can imagine that the room on the main street with trams passing can be loud.

I'd go back to this hotel again.

Zurich is such an expensive city to visit. We wanted a less expensive place for just 1 night. we trusted TripAdvisor reviews and chose the Rex. A little out of the way, but a friendly staff and a clean well-proportioned room.

For the price this hotel was excellent. The room is small but clean, modern and well furnished. There was a heatwave in Zurich when we were staying so it was great to have air con. Good breakfast, good position and friendly helpful staff.
