I stayed at hotel Glockenhof again upon a business trip to Zürich this week. The rooms are nice, well appointed with good beds and pillows. The rooms have been recently renovated and everything is new. There is no gym at the hotel but they give access cards at CHF 25.- to Holmes Place which is a large gym at Jelmoli department store. Internet access via cable is free in the hotel rooms but WiFi costs heavily. Breakfast is excellent with everything you may really need. Will stay in this hotel again next time. The location is perfect just off Bahnhof Strasse. The only downside is the price: CHF 360 per night but I guess this is normal for Zürich as all the hotels there are expensive.

Great location - just drop off shopping and spend all day in the city !

The location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing in Zurich. We had a nice, large and very clean room with an interesting design. Plus for the Nespresso coffee machine. Nice friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.We took advantage of a weekend special which helped offset the somewhat high price (like most things in Switzerland). I would give 5 stars to the night receptionist who, at 11pm, went off and brought me back a whole pot of coffee when I had a little trouble with the aforementioned Nespresso machine. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect location for visiting Zurich. Walking distance to shopping,dining and sightseeing. Zurich is an expensive city and the food in the hotel is not inexpensive. The breakfast buffet was quite nice however, and the early morning restaurant staff were very friendly and quick to serve.
