This hotel is walking distance from the main train station (ideal for airport) and close to shops and pleasant walks around the lake. It is staffed by professional helpful employees. There is a small piano bar off the lobby that is popular and the restaurant must be good because its booked out way in advance, it certainly looks very nice. The shock came when I saw the Superior Room I had paid for which must have been all of 10'x10' with a tiny little wardrobe, tiny desk, tiny chair and tiny window to peek out of! Perfect if you are about 8years old. I wonder if the cheaper room was much smaller. Seems hard to imagine somehow. Having said that the room was clean and for one night it was perfectly OK.

Stayed again this time over the new years and had a ball, close to the railway station for my get away to Munich, the great shopping mall down Waisenhausstrasse. Well done to the Central team

Booked at standard room here. My closet at home is larger than this. Upon entering room opened window because room was too hot. Directly across the street was office building the people in building were kind enough to wave. Just wonderful!!! Room had 1 towel for both my husband and I, were we supposed to share? Paid 50CHF extra per night for a larger room. View was nice and thankfully no office building across the way. Had to visit front desk 3x so far thr first night because the key to the room did not work. Towels are frayed and ragged. Can't wait for what ever else goes wrong. 4 stars not even on a good day. 2.5 would be a strech and only because of central location. For this price in room coffee would be nice but not here. Would leave if I did not prepay stay on Hotels.com. Beware!!!!

This hotel is wonderful - good location, great staff and facilities. We arrived from South Africa at 06h00 and on arrival at the hotel just after 07h30 they had a room ready for us. Not only could we check in extremely early they had upgraded us to a suite. The room was clean, well-equipped and beautiful. Thank you Central Plaza for being so accommodating.

We made use of the their fitness centre which is small but has enough equipment for a work out. Hotel has a restaurant however we did not eat here but did have coffee in their bar which is very convenient and has wi-fi. There is also a lift in the hotel.

We found the location very convenient to the train station, trams and for walking around town and has a Star bucks across the road.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again should I ever find myself in Zurich.
