It' located within easy (10 min) walking distance of the train station, the main shopping street and Old Town. The rooms were decent size with the usual, very comfortable Marriott beds. The breakfast and drinks in the executive lounge were good and the service was excellent.

I didn't stay in the hotel we only went there for a drink so the rooms may well be large and comfortable but for the price it's charges the hotel definitely wasn't what I expected definitely not 4 star. My immediate impression was a dated motel like interior of a 2.5 star hotel!

I travel to Zurich a lot for work. Zurich is a challenge for the average business travel as most hotels are small, they have single beds as standard, are a bit old fashioned and almost all of them are very expensive/ I have been staying at the Marriott for over 4 years. It has big modern rooms, lots of choice of TV a small immaculate gym overlooking the Limmat river and an excellent sauna which is almost always empty. The room service is very effecient and the Thai food and in house restaurant are top class. If you are a frequent traveller the Marriott lounge is excellent with great choices for breakfast and impeccable service. So is there anything to fault .. very little indeed .. if you don't like chains then this is not for you, it does a lack a little atmosphere as most large hotels do, but I don't beleive you will get better quality or service for the same money anywhere else in Zurich. As regards the location. : it is about a 5 minute walk along the banks of the Limmat to the main station. It is a very calming walk, with amazing glacier green/blue water in the river after the snowmelt and in summer fish jumping to catch flies. What more could you want?

This was our second stay in this hotel and we would like to find what has changed. It seems the hotel was recently renovated and looks modern and colorful.

The hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance from Bahnhof Main Station and the main shopping street – Bahnhofstrasse. It was a good short walk through the park to the city center and we did it every morning and evening. We did not use taxi or any public transport during our stay – saved extra money during our stay.

The rooms are large and clean and beds are very comfortable. There is a plug-in panel in the room. We connected my laptop to the panel (cables provided by the hotel) and our daughter watched children movies on the big LCD screen in the evenings. It was cheaper than buying on demand movies.

We booked a room on the Marriott’s website and chose the option with access to a business lounge. We had all breakfasts and dinners at the hotel business lounge during all days of our stay. The food and drinks were excellent and enough for my family. It helped us, family of three members, to save a lot of money.

The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. We did not have any problems during our stay.

The hotel provides a transfer to the airport and it costs 50 EUR.
