My stay at Holiday Inn was excellent. Simple and pure. It is little bit far from the city center but the tram takes only 20min and it is very comfortable. I have never think of this hotel as my first choice however I was really surprised and would highly reccommend it to all of you. Great choice of breakfast in the morning. Vey attentive staff. Internet is for free of charge

We've twice stayed at this hotel. Though some may disagree, we found it convenient to ride the tram for approximately 15 minutes from the main train station to the Stadium stop, from where you can easily see the hotel. Breakfasts were always excellent. We'll stay here again the next time we're in Zurich.

I stayed for 4 days during the december.
The room was very clear. The bed was nice too. We are two persons and the room was very comfortable.
All the staff was very helpful and everyone spoke very well the english language.
I did not have a breakfast because it was expensive.
Moreover there was not refrigerator it the room.
The room's temperature at the nights was high! Too high!!!!!!
The city center is very close to hotel, About 10 minuites by using tram (the tram station is almost 3 minuites.
It is near to the airport too. 1 station only (4 minuits) by train.

I stayed in Holiday Inn Messe for a long weekend in October 2011. It is a short walk from the train station (5 minutes) or a 2 minutes drive on the tram. The hotel is kept immaculate which is always a great start when you arrive at reception. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke very good English. I cannot praise them enough.

Our room was reasonable in size with a lovely bathroom, big shower and open planned. The only negative I can say about the bathroom is that the door is see-through. i don't know anyone who would want to see their friend or partner sat on the toilet!!

If I went back to Zurich I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money for one of the most expensive cities I've ever visited and good location to get straight into the city.

TIP: When you arrive at the airport go down to the train station and ask for 3 day or week travel passes. These are very reasonable and allow you on a lot of the transport available: Trams / Buses / Trains / Tubes and even some of the river running boats.
We took a ferry to Rapperswil which took 2 hours and our cost of ticket has halved due to having this 3 day pass already - well worth it!
