It's an upmarket 1970s travel lodge/motel. Rooms were clean and had been updated but the building and entrance and corridors are not enticing and there is only room service and restaurant meals available mon-fri. Not helpful for a sun-tues stay. luckily there is a handy shell garage next door for drinks and snacks. the bed was not that comfy and the room a bit hot and stuff. sound proofing wasn't great.
i travelled on business but took my partner and 20m old daughter with me. the staff were very kind and helpful and the cot was no extra charge. breakfast was nice. the
bar is smoking so didn't visit there (and in fact the smoke wafts around because i could smell smoke in our non smoking room).
