Stayed here for four nights and liked the central location, near shops and the Cathedral. A small hotel private hotel, it was clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the room was quiet, ensuring a great nights' sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful for me with an ample supply of fruit, breads, meat, cheese, cereals, youghurt, juices and hot drinks. The room was not airconditioned and it was a warm weekend but the ceiling fan helped move the air and because it was quiet, the windows could be left open. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night out of our 3 week european trip. The hotel is in a good central location, but would not recommend it to travellers looking for a nice hotel with nice rooms. There was contruction going on all day on our floor and right beside our room. You could not be in your room from 8:30 am to 5pm because of the extreme noise. They did not let us know about this before our arrival. The room was incredibly small and very dated - ugly - old blue carpet. They allow pets, which really turns me off.

We travelled to Lausanne by train and found the hotel within easy walking distance of the station. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we thought the breakfast was good value. The room was clean but rather small for 3 of us and perhaps a little dated. We thought Hotel Regina was a good budget hotel for pricey Switzerland.

I was impressed by how clean this hotel is! The location is also very convenient and the free Internet a useful extra. I would recommend this hotel both for business and leisure.
