Our first ski trip this year in Zermatt. Hotel is so clean and well-maintained, with character and a boutique-y feel. We had a suite so there is a living room area with the Matterhorn view. Gorgeous room we felt right at home. Attention to detail is important to us as we travel often. Hotel Eden has everything we wanted for this vacation. We also love the "wellness" area with steam bath and sauna, and connection to the ski-room where we put the ski boots. Security is also important to us and i feel everything is looked-after well. They were so nice as we have already checked out they delivered our luggages to our restaurant so we could go directly to the train station without going back to hotel or lugging them with us for lunch. We had the buffet breakfast the selection was enough for a nice meal before a day of skiing. Service is also quick and efficient we were attended to right away upon arriving the restaurant for coffee/tea or whatever specific wishes we had. Great service!
We will definitely stay at Hotel Eden when we go to Zermatt again!

The staff at Hotel Eden are very helpful and generous with their time. One of our friends got sick during our stay and the staff provided us with information in case we needed a doctor. Another friend had a sore shin after a long hike and the front desk person brought her an ice pack. The hotel room was large, spacious and clean and had beautiful views. Breakfast was included and it was delicious and the service was excellent! We even extended our stay a few days...wish it could have been another week!

We have stayed in Zermatt quite a bit over the years and as soon as we found Hotel Eden we have not stayed any where else. First off it is located really close to the centre of town and the bus which takes you to the lift stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area (including steam room and two saunas) are huge and very welcome after a hard day on the slopes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The decor is, perhaps, a little dated but I think if they updated it they would start charging more because the facilities are so good! Please don't change Hotel Eden!

This is a lovely hotel which totally lives up to its four star rating. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The room was large and very comfortable. In addition there was a sauna and beautiful pool to use after a day of hiking. I should also add that the breakfasts were fantastic: lots of fruit, cheese, eggs, bread, etc. Of course, it was expensive like everything else is Switzerland.
