We booked through deindeal.ch and weren't really sure what to expect. Well, we were thrilled with everything. The place is lovely, really away from the crowds of tourists in zermatt and with stunning views. The room was great, nice and spacious with really comfy beds. The spa facilities were very welcome after a days hiking although the pool and spa seemed a bit cool one of the days we were there, still nice though. The food was where this hotel really excelled though - it was a set 4 course meal each night but each one was delicious, as were the breakfasts and lunch. The staff were friendly, everything was reasonably priced given it was such good quality and was an absolute bargain with the deindeal offer. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely like to go back.

We were part of a hiking group and we all stayed in this hotel. We stayed in the hotel for about 7 days. The hotel owners and staffs are really friendly and helpful. We felt like we are part of the family.

The location of hotel is in Furi which is the first stop for the Gondola ride from Zermatt. Because Furi is up in the mountain away from Zermatt. The hotel is also quite quiet. There are couple hiking trails around the hotel or you can take the Gondola to Zermatt or up in the mountain for other hiking trails.

The dinner @ the restaurant there are also fantastic. We enjoyed the raclette very much.

now travelling alone I have found "single" accommodation to be generally poor and overpriced but the Silvana was neither. Excellent room with sunny balcony. Although the only British guest staying at the time, had no language difficulties and both the owners and staff were very friendly. Food was of a high standard off an albeit limited menu and I had a decently located table rather than stuck behind a door as is usual for a solo diner.
The location, just outside Zermatt, is good for the cable cars and walks. Danny the owner, is a qualified Guide and is free with his advice on climbs and weather. Much apreciated.

Stayed here as part of a small group hiking tour. The location is incredible, as it's very convenient to many hiking trails, and its out-of-town location means it's very quiet. It's surrounded only by a few other chalets and fields of wildflowers. The food is quite tasty, with generous portions, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The whirlpool spa and sauna/steamroom are great after a day of hiking. If you are seeking a quiet, relaxing place, this is great! However, if you want to be close to lots of restaurants and other typical tourist activities, this may not be your cup of tea, as Zermatt itself is reached by a five-minute cable car ride which closes at about 6PM.
