My wife and I stayed here as part of a package holiday and we chose it as a result of TripAdvisor recommendations - it did not disappoint. It is located on the edge of the main centre of the town in a quiet location, but within easy walking distance of everything. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated throughout. Our balcony room was very well appointed and comfortable and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The staff in the hotel were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful.
We made use of the extremely nice spa downstairs - which consists of a good sized swimming pool, jacuzzi, several sauna rooms etc. - on several occasions . A solarium is also available for a modest fee (coin operated sunbed).
If I had to criticise we would say that we found breakfast choice a little limited as it is strictly continental in nature - don't expect much in the way of cooked. But having been to Switzerland before it is apparent that this is just the way the Swiss have breakfast, and not really a reflection on the hotel. But if you're British you might pine for a few rashers of bacon and a fried egg or two. Boiled eggs are available but the method of cooking them, in a large, covered bowl filled with some sort of sand which is kept heated, is less than successful and results them being hardly cooked at all. Perhaps this is the Swiss way too? Having said that, when my wife asked for harder boiled ones these were happily provided by the staff on every request, so what more can you ask?
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and would gladly stay there again. If you manage to have a bad stay here then you're either very unlucky indeed or impossible to please.
