booked this hotel by mistake ('not that one' turned into 'that one' over the phone, doh!), but even though the reviews are pretty bad, the hotel wasn't. Ok it has a cable car going right through it and you can hear it, but that didn't bother me at all and my friend used ear plugs, the walls in our room definitely did not shake and we both slept very well.
Multilingual staff at reception were always very helpful and friendly, maybe we were lucky, but they were always really nice to us.
It's actually quite basic, has a backpackers feel to it and the bathroom was pretty small, but it was clean and being right next to the cable car actually makes it extremely easy to get to. Location is just perfect and close to everything.
At first we decided not to have breakfast in the hotel as there are loads of cafes and restaurants nearby, but we eventually decided to give it a try and it wasn't so bad. Not great, but you can always have a look before you decide to eat there or not.
