Hotels has cable car going through it so walls shake and it's loud. Rooms were dirty and staff was very uncourteous. Drinks at hotel were very expensive

The location is really good. Just beside the window is funicular and it is quite noisey. There is no air conditioning in rooms! Minimalism in everything but as I said location will help you to forget about everything:)

We were here on a Cosmos Tour for one night and I had read the bad reviews of this property
On Trip Advisor and agree it is definitely Tourist class. No air conditioning and just a small fan in room. If your room is over the courtyard then you can't open your window until bar below closes about 10:00 pm because of cigarette smoke rising into room. The funicular runs until midnight and starts at 5:30 am. Avoid this hotel if at all possible.

Traveling with a Cosmos group this summer. Our room was directly over the funicular that ran up the hill. When I say directly over I mean it ran underneath the floor of our room. Add to that the fact of no A/C , some times a given in Europe, but the oscillating fan didn't do much good. Add to that plus the fact that the only windows opened up to an outside courtyard where people were smoking.
