Our group of 6 rooms really took over this hotel the 2 nights we were there. We loved this place. The rooms are advertised as being small, so we were surprised to find the rooms to be larger than we expected and extremely comfortable and clean.

All of our email from Sonja was promptly handled. She went out of her way to make us all feel at home. On our last morning, we were due to leave earlier than the normal breakfast time. She went the extra mile (with a smile on her face) and opened up the breakfast room 30 minutes earlier, which gave us all a great start on the day.

Sonja also arranged Lago Maggiore Express tickets for us and allowed us to charge them to our room, thus eliminating the need to stand in line at the ticket office.

We all loved our balcony rooms and the view of the lake was very nice. The breakfast buffet was very nice, too.

We'd all go back to this hotel again -- it's a great place!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is just perfect. Balcony rooms have beautiful views of the lake. Excellent, helpful staff!

the hotel is within easy walking distance from the railway station as well as the Piazza...and has a brilliant lake view frontage.The rooms are a bit tight but functional.The breakfast could be a bit more elaborate.The staff was very courteous and helpful.However, like most European hotels was expensive and difficult to justify as great value for money.

Thank you, Sonja, for making our stay absolutely perfect. We absolutely loved the Count Basie suite, and our lovely view of the Lago Maggiore each morning. Such a lovely town, with delicious food and even better local vino rosso. Despite the fact that not many in town spoke English, you were a shining gem that helped us enjoy Locarno to the fullest. We will be back again, and mostly because of you and your beautiful hotel!
