I spent a single night at this hotel and I was quite satisfied. I had already been reccomended by a friend of mine who had already been there.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location, despite not being right at the centre of Locarno, is quite convenient and very close to the lake. The rooms are simple but quite modern and very clean and fully equipped with large terraces. There are some free Parking places right in front of the hotel, but not many. Very complete breakfast.

The only "bad" thing I could say is that, appart from the lack of much parking space, it is a bit noisy since it is facing one main avenue, but the rooms are well soundproof.

We stayed for one night during the Moon & Stars Festival and it was ideal for us. The rooms are modern, we had a nice balcony, it's a 5min walk to the train station, 5min to the lake and city centre. Not much serive and unfortunatly the internet isn't free but otherwise we were very satisfied. The breakfast buffet is ok. Not a huge variety but enough to not be hungry anymore.

We stayed in this hotel for nine nights, and were totally satisfied with the room and facilities provided. I booked direct with the hotel, and was offered a 10% discount due to the length of stay. At the time of booking I requested a room with a lake view if possible, and was not disappointed. Our fourth floor room had a large balcony with a superb view of the lake and mountains. It was spacious with comfortable twin beds, and was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were all very helpful, and there was a pleasant laid back atmosphere generally in the hotel. It will certainly get a return visit when we visit Locarno again, as the town is a great base for a holiday whatever your interests.
