We arrived so tired and worn out from traveling and the owner and staff couldn't have been anymore helpful or nicer. They even upgraded our balcony room to a lovely suite with balconies. We ate in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! The next morning when we awoke so refreshed from a great night's sleep, we had a absolutely fabulous breakfast that was included with the room price. We met the owners' precious family and we definitely would go back anytime.
we spend eight days at this outstanding hotel during the high season. The accommodation was entirely satisfactory but the real pleasure was the warmth and professionalism of the staff and the very high quality of the four course evening meal. For the entire period of our stay we were treated as highly regarded members of their family with good humoured and excellent service a constant feature. It is surprising to find that the cost of such excellence is a lot less that most better known hotels in the town
We would recommend this hotel without reservation to anyone wishing to have a very enjoyable holiday in a great ski resort.

I can only echo the comemnts above. This was an outstandingly warm and freindly hotel where nothing was too much trouble for the ever-helpful (but wholly professional and non-cloying) staff.
Spotlessly clean and lovely rooms with a balcony on each, coupled to the outstnading food (local and international), our stay was a real treat.

We loved the San Gian. The accommodations were wonderful. The management and staff were so warm and helpful, we feel like we made friends in Switzerland. The room price included a 4 course dinner that was fabulous. We would definitely recommend the San Gian and we look forward to returning someday.
