My wife and I took a guided 3-country tour in August from the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in Garmisch-Partenkirchen that stopped in the Hotel Kulm Restaurant for lunch. Beautiful panoramic vistas of the mountains and a picturesque train station not more than 300 metres from the dining deck. Local dishes of pork, beef, potatoes, and pasta were delicious but nothing out of the ordinary. The view was worth millions and the courteous staff made the dining experience complete. We did not stay in the hotel -- I used the Hotel Kulm as reference for the restaurant.
