Only one night was enough to confirm the excelence of this hotel. We were received at the train station by the owner himself, who kindly drove us to the hotel and back the next morning. We have arrived by the Bernina Express and were going to take the Glacier Express the next morning. The hotel is very good, with wide rooms and a good shower, wonderful after an 8 hours travel from Lugano, even considering the astonishing view during the trip.

We have had a good meal at the hotel reataurant; my friend's wife is a vegetarian and has received all the attention she deserved. The food was good tasting and, with a bottle of wine, ended a marvelous day.

The bed was wonderful, relaxing and with those swiss quits that seems to take you into the clouds. After a very good slept night, the breakfast.

The breakfast was very good, with the usual tea, coffee, milk, plus breads, croissants, jams, eggs, cheeses and meats, preparing us to the great journey of the Glacier Express, from Davos to Zermatt.

After a short walk throughout the hotel neighbourings we were driven to Davos Platz (the hotel is in Davos Dorf Station) to take The Glacier Express Train.
