Just back from a group ski trip, consisting of mostly singles. We were able to have single en-suite (shower) rooms which are compact but perfectly adequate.
The breakfast buffet is copious and excellent... never seen so many choises of bread before!
The multi-course evening and celebratory meals were delicious ... but did drag on a bit!
There is a lovely large pool, but the gym (which I didnt use) is payable.
The hotel lays on a minibus shuttle to and from 2 (out of 5) of the ski areas.
Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Stayed at Sunstar Park Hotel for 3 nights. The accomodation was of an average standard, if somewhat dated. Breakfast was excellent, huge variety. However what let it down as the attitude of the staff. Not one member could speak fluent English and they did not go out of the way to make our stay special. We found it difficult to approach the staff for advice and tips on where to visit.

The only saving grace was the views from our hotel balcony.

With simple but spacious and clean bedrooms, this is a well located hotel, with great staff.
Spent there my birthday and they offered me a bottle of wine and a postcard. On the last day, and because I would take the train too early to go to the airport, they prepared me two bags of food to eat on the road. Amazing!
The breakfast was very good, as well as dinners. The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Davos, close to the center and all public transport. The minibar is free, and the hotel give a card that allows free ride on public transport. Totally recommended!

we liked being met at the station. The reception staff briefed us about tour by train arrangements. The instructions were clear and worked perfectly. The room was very clean
with robes and slippers to make us fel at home.Breakfasts offered an excellent variety. The serving staff were friendly and helpful.The evening meal had five excellent course s with a choice of main courses.They obviously have very skillful chefs Reception was able to arrange the transfer of luggage from one hotel to another (at a charge) They checked in our luggage for the return flight back to England.Swiss travel who arranged our Highlights of Switzerland tour had not mentioned this facility. They also booked our return flight for the wrong day. However the hotel reception staff contacted Interlaken for us and swiss travel paid for our extra night because it was their mistake.All in all an excellent hotel and one which could teach English hoteliers a good deal!
