On my recent visit to Davos, I got to stay at Steigenberger Belvedere at Davos in Switzerland.

Now to further expand the one line summary further, I would like to mention of 5 following things which are important for me to stay at any place -

1. Location of the hotel - Belvedere is quiet centrally located in Davos. Most of the places, including market, stadium, shopping places, restaurants, skiing areas are walk away.

2. Service - Very nice and courteous people are there to help you anytime for whatever possible. shuttle service to any location with Davos (pick up and drop) is available anytime at no cost! I particularly liked their reservation table staff. All of them were smiling, cheerily natured and ready to serve you immediately!

3. Facilities / Amenities - Gym, Spa, Swimming pool (beautiful one) are all available with the hotel and can be used at will. Gym is not that great and had basic equipments though.

4. Food - I am strict vegetarian and still managed to eat quite tasty food including vegetable filled risotto. Breakfast for me was usually toast, cashew nuts, almonds, tea, corn flakes, cheese, etc

5. Pricing - Rates are from 300 CHF and above but thanks to my MNC company, I got it a much discounted rate.

Overall, I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here, provided it suits your wallet.

This was our third visit to the hotel and everything is what you would expect from a five star establishment. Summer time excellent value, good food, fantastic staff,very clean
and comfortable rooms.The surrounding area offers amazing walks. Local travel
including ski lifts, busses, and trains are all free in the local area. Just wonderful.

We spent a "Jazz-Hiking-Week" at the Belvedere and I was impressed by the hotel, the unobtrusive, but attentive staff and the guided tours. The hotel offered single rooms without additional costs. My room sported a rainwater-shower - that and the hot tub were truly welcome after a day of hiking.
The food was very good, the presentation original.

well appointed and spaciousrooms although the ones in the front of the hotel have views and those in the back do not. The most impressive aspect was the exceedingly helpful staff who made our stay most comfortable. The breakfast too was a sumptuous and delectable affair - one of the best we have ever experienced!
