We stayed here one night so we could catch an early train from Chur. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station. The double-paned windows really kept out the noise and my husband and I both slept very well. The breakfast was yummy and I felt like we had a good value for our money.

We stayed here as part of a tour group. The rooms were spacious, the staff friendly, and helpful. and the funky bathroom lights are great! The owners were very "hands on", working reception, the bar and especially cooking breakfast in the dining room, and even asking how you want your eggs cooked! The breakfast was plentiful, and there was a good choice, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, the usual cheeses and meats and cooked bacon, sausage and eggs, mainly sourced locally. No outside disturbances, unless you open the window, and even then not much.We had to open the window one night as the room was so hot, so this might be a problem in summer.

I have stayed several times at this hotel, because it was very convenient and at first glance it seemed very nice. In this hotel it depends a lot which room you get. My advice: Ask for a renovated one!!!!!! - There are some rooms which are quite nice, but the bathrooms are sometimes awfully strange smelling. Sometimes they are not cleaned properly - even the newly renovated ones!

In the end I looked for another hotel, because I felt they even didn't appreciate a regular costumer. The last time I got a very old room which smelt of smoke -although I had asekd for a strictly non-smoking room and the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. My collegue looked several weeks before me for another hotel, because her room was not nice at all and she felt it was much too dirty, too.

Wow! I wasn't expecting anything much after reading some of the reviews, but this was fabulous. We were put in one of 5 new rooms on the first floor. The space was vast, the bed was huge and comfy, and the spacious, modern bathroom has groovy colour changing lights above the door. The room was very quiet - we only heard a little noise in the hallway about 9 o'clock one night because a large party was having a debate outside our door - and there was no street noise at all. The hotel is very centrally located, and great for exploring Chur. At breakfast we were faced with possibly the biggest choice of breakfast goods I have seen in any hotel (and we've been to a lot of hotels), including the usual cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, and freshly cooked eggs, bacon, sausages and so on, as well as cereals, fruit juices, coffees and teas. The staff were universally polite and friendly, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
