We stayed here on a weekend in March, during the busy season. Most hotels in town were booked and this was a hotel of last resort. We were skeptical since it still had rooms available. We booked through Hotels.com. Price was alittle higher than we normally spend on a hotel, but it seems all prices in Arosa were high.
We were very happy with the hotel. It was as promised and offered even more than we expected. Hotel runs a shuttle from the trainstation to the hotel. We did not know this and took a cab. Hotel also runs a shuttle to the ski lifts and will pick you up when you re done skiing. Hotel also has sleds available and they supply locks for you if you want to sled into town and have dinner. We took the sleds on the free bus ride to the top on the mountain and came down the unique and wonderful sled path. I think it was actually better than skiing. And skiiing was the highlight of the trip.
Hotel rooms are updated and modern. Large rooms with balcony out to the snowy wonderland. Staff was very friendly and all spoke English.
We were very pleased with our stay and it would definitely go to Arosa again and stay there again. One piece of advise though, make dinner reservations. It was a Saturday night and we are not the type to plan or make reservations. All resturants were on reservations only and all small stores were closed. The next night we bought sandwiches in the afternoon for dinner.
Wonderful town and would recommend.
