This little guesthouse in Mürren has a wonderful lady running it who is very service minded friendly and the atmosphere when one walks through the door is very welcoming and warm. The rooms are clean, comfy beds, great warm showers, and have a fantastic view of Eiger, Mönsch and Jungfrau.

Mürren is a great place for skiing, both easy acces to great off-piste, fun slopes from top of Shiltorn all the way to the village, and Winteregg below, and this year we could ski all the way to Lauterbrunnen.
It never feels busy as the ski system has a capacity that is higher than the number of beds in the village. If one wants a larger system, Wengen is just across the valley, and well worth a visit too.

A big thanks to Ema and her fantastic staff. Our weekend trip to Murren was fabulous. We've already passed the contact information on to many friends. Upon arrival our room was ready and waiting for us, including the setup for our toddler. The room was nice (plenty big enough even with the crib), the bathtub was almost like a swimming pool for our 2 year old, and the hearty mountain food was delicious. We also had a great time mixing it up with the skiers and boarders in the bar and game rooms and using the Guesthouse sled for our child's first sledding experience. The views are spectacular and the location is terrific. Needless to say, everyone had a great time. We can't wait to get back...!!!

The Eiger Guesthouse was everything promised by the Trip Advisor reviews. My seven yr olds liked the service, dinner (homemade pesto), and the bunk beds. Ema and Jenny were very helpful. Location is perfect, we could drag our bags right across the street from the train station. We had fun in the gameroom with the foozball and pool table,and there was a lively crowd there Sat nt to watch a rugby game. A very warm, welcoming place and great value. We hope to come back!

This was our first time to be in Murren in the winter and we chose the Eiger Guesthouse because it was close to the train station and we wouldn't have to pull our bags so far. We were finishing up a 31 day Rail Pass trip through Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and finally Murren. Needless to say, we have been in a few hotels lately!! What a pleasant surprise. The staff here was more like family we were visiting, and they went out of their way to see that we were cared for. The room, the bathroom, the location, the staff, the restaurant, the food and the price were all totally awesome. Thanks to Ema and her Staff for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely see them again.
