We had a 2-day seminar there. Although the organization did not go smoothly at the beginning, it was overall an excellent experience for the participants. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a Nespresso machine in the room, a balcony and a drawer which could be locked. One thing the hotel must imperatively improve, though, is the dusty smell when you enter it the first time. We ordered breakfast in our room, which was ignored the next morning - probably because we put the order out after midnight. The ladies from room service popping by to nicely bring you a cookie after your arrival don't speak a word of German, so if you need anything, it's hard to communicate with them. Nevertheless, we certainly will go back next year, this was a very good experience.
Very nice swimming pool, sauna and fitness area which you may access in a bathrobe without being seen by taking the steps from the 1st floor. Friendly staff at the reception - don't ask them what the weather forecast for tomorrow in Interlaken is... they only listen to German radio. 10 minutes on foot from the train station, not by the lake itself but well-situated.

I have stayed at the Beau Rivage for three years in a row, and I can't speak more highly of it. The location is perfect (5 min. walk from Interlaken Ost station, and right on the "green" river connecting the two lakes, Thun and Brienz), and the building and grounds are beautiful. The indoor pool is great (view of the Alps while you are swimming) and their breakfast buffet is one of the best in Europe in my opinion.

Okay, the rooms are small, but welcome to Europe. And although you may prefer staying in a village like Wengen, etc. this is a great alternative, especially for your last night in the Bernese Oberland. If you have an early morning train departure for somewhere else this is the place to be, although it has so much more going for it than that. I will stay here again.

The hotel is very well situated, far from the noisy part of the village, but incredibly expensive and quite old.
Standard rooms are small, the furniture needs a renovation, and the bathroom is terrible.
On the other hand, the service is fast and the staff is always very very kind. The restaurant menu is incredibly short, but the dishes are not bad at all. Excellent breakfast.
The “smoking room” with an excellent choice of cigars is very nice.
Nice garden.

I must write this report about the beau rivage hotel we stayed at this hotel in April 2008 and agian in January 2012 the hotel has had a new mangment team and chef since I last stayed at this hotel.
the staff are very pleasent and helpful indeed and the hotel is immaculate clean and well maintained.
there is a indoor pool gym steamroom suna also sunbeds round the pool that you can see the mountians from the pool side
The food is first class at the Beau rivage the breakfast is a buffet style with about 30 to 40 diffrent items every morning on offer inc hot bacon tomatoes eggs plus other items all well cooked
and hot which makes a change as some hotels the hot breakfast is cold but not at the beau rivage the food is brilliant.
The room was clean and warm and spacious and my room over looked the mountians with a balcony and mini bar.

she is very helpful member of the staff and a credit to the Linder group this hotel is brilliant
i would recomend this hotel if you want a luxurious stay.
Hotel's in the UK could learn a lot from the Beau Rivage the service is wounderful
