Stayed for two nights during a business conference in February 2012.

The hotel looks beautiful from outside and is even nicer at the inside.

Check-in was extremely quick, as they were well prepared and surprisingly friendly.
My room was to the front side with a theoretical view to the Jungfrau mountain. Unfortunately the sticky fog over both days did not allow a glance to the usually beautiful panoramic view.

The room was large with a small sofa and working desk.
A welcome set with mineral water as well as fruits was provided.

The bathroom was nice with separate shower and bath. Except basic soap, shower gel and shampoo no amenities were provided. Nevertheless, when asking for a toothbrush it was immediately delivered to my room.

For those who like some exercise there is a beautiful pool and sauna area.

Food was generally a highlight with a special plus to the breakfast buffet.
I have tried it before without staying at this hotel and must say that they really keep a very high standard and variety.

For those who want to be connected can enjoy wireless access throughout the hotel.

Overall it was a great experience and I will consider to visit this hotel with my family soon.

My husband and I spent two weeks traveling in London and Switzerland and stayed in a variety of hotels both in terms of price and rating. This hotel is in the book A thousand places to visit before you die. The short of it is that you can die without visiting the Victoria Jungfrau.

The service was very poor. As an example, while half the hotel was empty, we were given a room over a large wedding and got to sing along with the guests until 2 am. Restaurant service in the hotel was repeatedly slow (waiting 2 hours for a meal). With the exception of a single bellman, the staff really did not seem to care.

If you want to visit Interlaken, my suggestion is to stay in neighboring towns such as Murren or Grindelwald which are beautiful and to skip Interlaken, which is an odd mishmash of t-shirt shops, Hooters and once grand hotels.

The hotel is flawless from the entry to the spa. It has been featured on the travel channel so many times and it will continue to do so for its great staff and location. We had an excellent meal in the grand dining room and enjoyed the room with the shades that open up the skylight.
