We stayed in this chalet with friends before Christmas and it was fantastic, offering everything you could wish for in a great skiing holiday. It's a beautiful contemporary Swiss chalet, spacious, comfortable and luxurious. It's in a great location, close to ski lifts, shops, restaurants and the station. The views from the balconies are stunning. The kids loved the relaxed living space and flat screen TV's after a hard days skiing, and we all enjoyed use of the hotel pool and spa. The hotel catered for us one evening when we were too tired to go out and we had a 5* dining experience in our own chalet. Robert, the owner, was extremely helpful when we were hiring ski's, planning our days and chosing restaurants. We were really well looked after.

We were a group of three families enjoying this Chalet. Plenty of room for all so different groups could hang out and do their things. The building, the rooms, the hotel are all extremely high quality. The chalet doesn't miss a trick as every convenience is catered to - ample wine coolers, wifi, top range TV systems, UK and Swiss plugs !

One night was catered by the hotel in the chalet dining room. Very special event.

Kids loved it and we slept great. Good location right next to main train station (for the slopes and for getting in and out of the resort).

This chalet will exceed any expectations you have of a ski chalet. Attached to the 4 star Hotel Schweizerhof (with the use of all it's facilities-a great bonus for the food and any bad weather), the Rostocki is exceptionally well appointed and furnished. The location to the station makes it easy to get to the slopes - only a 2 minute walk from the heated boot room. Would highly recommend this chalet. We were there to experience a great snowfall in the winter but can easily see the attraction for a stay any time of year.
We booked direct with owner, Robert, who couln't be more helpful with travel, local info etc etc.

We stayed in the larger suite of the chalet Rotstocki in Grindelwald in August 2011 with our 3 children and were stunned by the exquisite design and breathtaking views.
We've never had such a relaxing week since we've had children and cannot wait to try again.
